I have recently really taken to making quilts. I enjoy doing it, and it's nice to make things so useful for other people. In this day and age of everything made in some factory in China, taking the time to make these quilts and other items is very satisfying.
It is also satisfying to provide these items for other people. A quilt is a gift that says "I thought a lot about you" when you decided upon the pattern and colors. It's a little more work than picking up something quick at the store, and it will last a very long time.
